Could anyone help? Mr2 seats into a ep82

right lads have another gt here but i want to put mr2 seats into it? i have the mr2 seats with rails but have no starlet rails for it! can i by any chance leave them on the mr2 rails and sum how mount them to the floor? and would this pass a nct test if done?

Best thing to do is take the rail off the seat an try it in car an see how far holes are out, you might jus beable to fiddle them in...

yeah was thinkin of takin them off and see how they fair up, if they weren't matching do ya think I could bore new holes to mount them with the mr2 rails? There out of a 95 mr2 turbo with the half leather dying to get them in they look nice and low
father is a metal fabricator so he should be able to what ever it needs but I hate askin em cause he's always busy and then complains ha

Yer put the rail in an see how the holes line up, it may just be a case of drilling new holes in the rail's.. But if you do drill holes get ya dad to weld a plate where the hole is for strenth an drill threw it, at least that way ya not messin with the car jus the rail's...

Yeah il try that lad, try line em up and see are they close even, father should be well able to make em fit with no problems, just he was complaining when I asked em before cause I sold my perfect good seats for seats that I might not be able to fit ha hopefully it will be straight forward and minimal fabrication, want to get them in asap now
