crankcase breather??

engine is blowing/spewing oil through my crank case breather, is it likely to be anything other than rings/ringlands?

Pull the hose off that runs between the PCV valve and the inlet manifold, block off both the hose and the port on the inlet manifold, if you still get out of the breather then it's likely you have a piston issue and a compression test is the next step. If the oil spray stops then you need to replace the PCV valve.
