cruise valve springs

what is the recommend installed spring height does anybody know? and what base pressure do people set them at?

have a head with billet 264 cams with 8mm lift i think and want to get the cruise valve springs fitted so need to know what base pressure to set them to. or do people just fit them and not check base pressure?

I can help you out with stock spring figures, maybe you should ask Cruise what they specify.

Free length 53.58mm with a 2mm maximum deviation.

Pressure should be 148 to 164 Newtons at 31.8mm.

There are no different retainers available from the stock items so if the springs are outside this length you would need custom shim retainers made or new valves that dont extend so much.
