Customer Project - Gary MK3 MRS 3sgte forged build and GTX turbo

Had a nice customer approach me recently regarding the building of a forged 3sgte bottom end but also a custom turbocharger kit based off our GT28 range but to fit into a toyota MRS roadster with goals of around 400bhp.

The problem with this is the MRS roadster is the space required is much shorter. Around 8inches from the head face to the bulkhead.

Managed it in the end by relocating the oil filter being a revision 2 mr2/st185 style engine block, and also moving the dipstick to come out on the opposite side of the engine block.

The engine block is all built and forged in the pictures but has the topdeck sealed off, old head gasket and an old head installed for mocking up the kit and final testing.

I know unfortunately I'm not doing the installation. the customer did all that so i was just supply the forged engine and the custom turbocharger setup.

Really disappointed I won't get to see this finished and running as I recon it'll be a rocket with close to 400ft/lbs in such a tiny car
