my cv joints is shagged lol no other words for it but is it still safe to drive folks ???

how bad is it? just the boot gone and spunked everywhere?

if the joint itself is completely fucked it could suddenly seize while your driving

mine was clickin badly for months - was fine for me

will be fine mate. just try and keep it as dry as possible. dont pressure wash it or go through big puddles.

get it fixed asap though

i drove without a boot on for about 2 weeks and stuck a new boot on and its been fine ever since!!

my missus had same prob i said dont worry about it, they take ages to go, 2 weeks later the cv joint split apart when she was 100 miles away from home - doh , bearings everywhere, luckily it was as she was pulling off from the hotel she was at

mine started clonkin a year ago but the cv boots KEPT falling off and now its completely fooooked. just ordered some new ones. anyone got any idea how to fit them? its it something i could do? im faily handy
