CV joint spline?

i have got a n-reg starlet Gt.. the CV joint is clicking, but wondered other than taking it of how to know wether it 23/23 or 23/30 Spline?
help appreciated

You have to count em, no other accurate way.

You can tell from the chassis number. Do you have a standard LSD? Generally, non factory LSD starlets have 23/30 spline count. Take this as a guide though.
