Cv Joint

Hi guys! Just a quick question, i know theres 2 different types of cv joint, however, what does the 2nd number refer to? e.g. 23/23 and 23/30. what does the 2nd part of the number refer to, just so i can go count and get one ordered!

I did a search but i dont think this has been asked before!

i thought 23 was the amount of splines, the bit that goes into the hub?

dont hold me on this but i think its 23 that goes in to the hub and 30 spines that your driveshaft goes in to your cv joint???

you count the splines in your old cv joint (the inside of the joint- not part it goes into the hub).
