Dash Bulb's

I recently bought some new dials for my 1993 GT, maybe you have seen the stainless steel ones?? Well thats them. I also recently purchased some defi gauges, blue BF 1's. Now I would like to change my dash bulbs to blue so that they match the defi's and boost controller and various others touches of blue I am going to have through-out the interior and engine bay.

Since this is my daily driver I don't want to lift the dash out to replace my dials and find out that I have to order new bulbs from like middle earth or somewhere ridiculous and be without a car for a week, maybe longer over the x-mas period.

So could someone tell me:
A/What type of bulb does the 1993 GT have?
B/How many does it use? (This includes the center console)
C/Where supplies them, and where would you recommend?

you can get the bulbs off ebay. they are 3 watt wedge type 501s (like the sidelight bulbs but lower wattage). think there are either 4 or 6, cant remember as havnt had it off for a while!

the centre console bulbs are a bit different as they come in a plastic holder type thing. best to just take one into a car parts place and ask for some.
they are all easy to get hold of.


the standard bulbs have silicone covers on them which can be removed. you just need a different colour:

t10 should fit the dash bulbs and the t5s should fit the centre console bulbs but you would have to double check that.
