dastek unichip!

Hi guys. later on towards the year, id like to buy a dastek unichip 2nd hand. What would i need to purchase? ive had a price for £200 of fitting and mapping and can find dasteks quite cheap!...

Ive heard good things about them has anyone had problems at all?

would this be ok? i know id possibly need more than this!

im not sure exactly wat is need but im running a unichip and i cant say anything bad from it. im running 180bhp at .9 bar but i creep to around 1.1 so probably a little more but im pulling from scoobys, 2.0 turbo corsas, dc5 tegs, ek9's, i cant wait to go forged woth a bigger turbo setup.

what exactly do you mean what else you 'need'. do you mean mods or wiring harness for the chip etc?

yea i mean them, well my cars 240bhp on safc on td04 at 16psi, and of course it pulls hard but soon going to be running 1.4/1.6bar on td04

Mike's car gained close to 30bhp when the Unichip was fitted if I remember correctly.

mike who? thats immense 30bhp, i wouldnt mind 30hp and ft lbs! how is torque gained?

The same Mike as a few posts up. It was Smiles who had the car previously and got the Unichip. I'm sure it went from 152bhp to 179bhp or something like that. You'll need to ask Mike for the graph. I'm sure Smiles will have given him it.

I used the UniChip in my old Glanza. Had no troubles what so ever. Although I was told it could of been the reason my engine didnt last long but that wasnt backed up by any proof, just stupidness.

I ran it with my Hybrid CT9, 221bhp if I remeber right and 190lbs ft!

You'll need the UniChip itself and the boost modual (spelling?) I'm sure thats all I had.
