decat performance upgrades and suggestions

do decats highly improve performance??

also does it matter what decat to get, as my bro says ''its just a pipe from there, to there'' but im guessing with cheap models youll have the same problems as with manifolds in terms of cracking??
any suggestions on makes and prices?? ..........

decat will aid spool up and free up some gasses well worth mod
it will need to be good quality
cheap ebay rubbish will only crack and cost you more in long run
check traders on here wepr,zisco etc if you need good quality one

get some good gains when when u add a decat and am also sure that it adds sum topend power iswell??i noticed it wen i added it to my last gt

I got a decat from Zisco when I bought my manifold aswell, noticed it pulling a lot better through the gears (fitted my decat without my manifold first)

You do notice abit of difference, when i put my cat on for MOT it felt slugish!
