id go for mild steel over stainless
zisco or wepr on here sell mild steel or stainless if you prefer

just gut the standard one. people say a decat pipe gives up better performance but i went form a zep racing decat to gutted cat noticed no difference between them

ye? dats mad, and the zep ones are tres pricey!!were/ how would i do it jus get the insides ripped out of it?? i no a bloke on here dose the manifolds bt dnt no about decats..!!

Don't gut the cat if you drive a Mk3 GT or Glanza, you'll need it for the MOT (in the UK).

It doesn't matter what you get for the decat really, they're less likely to crack than a manifold. Depends on your budget.
