Disconnected Wire

I noticed this wire has snapped or been disconnected. Just want to know what this wire is connecting to and from where and is it causing any problems by not been connected?? The car is running fine so i dont think it is but to be honest i just dont have a clue what it is for.:homer:

I had the same problem dude, not sure exactly what it does and my car still ran fine too.....

looks like it should be connected to the bottom of the plug shown in the centre of the pic.
I think that's the TPS...... **EDIT** It's the Idle Control Valve **

Idle control valve,

TPS is at the other side behind the Inlet.....

yup thats where it should be connected......if it is the TPS it might explain why after driving, and turning off the engine for a short while, when i start it back up it struggles to idle for a little bit. Could this be causing that problem?

Can anyone confirm that this is the TPS?

Ok so its the Idle control valve, so is even more likely to be causing that problem.

I just told you it's the idle control valve dude.

Hence the idling problem......

Is that an earth running to your strut brace?

That earth should be held to the manifold beside the ICV via a bolt......
