DIY Hybrid CT9 using a Supra CT12

My CT9 died so i just did a hybrid conversion few months ago. I thought I'd share some reference pics of CT9 and CT12.



Compressor Housing

The CT12 has a bigger and deeper canals compared to CT9.

Exhaust Housing

The CT9 has a bigger wastegate port compared to CT12.

Compressor Wheel

As you can see the CT12 has a bigger compressor wheel. but the design of the wheels are almost the same.

Exhaust Wheel

Again the CT12 is bigger than the CT9.

Actuator

The CT9 actuator has 2 ports for hi and lo boost.
The CT12 has only 1 port but its actuator is stiffer than the CT9's.
