yeah and is it against the law because the goverment care about us so much? no its because they see it as another oppertunity to collect cash!:freddy:

They are very low statistics compared to the lives belts have proven to haved saved. Also I dont think its very professional for a Policeman to have said that.

There are times when, by law, you dont have to wear a seatbelt, like when performing a reversing manoveur.

But personally I know of all the times I have crashed (4) I am glad I had it on.

I used to wear my Sabelt 4 point in the GT if I was going for a "drive" and wore the normal seat belt for normal driving. Sometimes wore both.

Always without fail. Lost a very close family friend back in december 2006, side impact shot her across the car which caused severe internal injuries that took her life at just 17.

It makes me angry seeing people not wearing them. If someone in my car refuses to put one on then I refuse to give them a lift simple as. Not a problem now that I've taken the rear seats out though lol!

Next time your in car and it's safe to do so, brake HARD at 30mph. Not fast at all and there's no impact (if there is, you've done something wrong lol :p), but you have vertually no control over the movement of your body.

I walked away from it mate, but had a broken hand, broken collarbone, broken foot, 2 broken ribs and a hole in my lip mate! My mate has now got a bad back for life! Drive safe :teach:

Alway's wear mine, i get told by the kid's and the car dont move till they have there's on...

I had a bad crash rew year's ago an i beleave the seat belt saved me from coming out the car as it barrel rolled down the road, yer i crushed my rib's but was a small price against staying alive...

no its because the cost of puttin people back together who dont wear seatbelts and are involved in a crash too the nhs and hence the taxpayer would be collosal..simple as!
