does the south of ireland have SVA test for jap imports under 10 year old ??

i just had to get an engineers report on my 99 glanza,and didnt have to do anything with my 98 gt4 or 00 type r so i presume theres no sva...:p

its because i was thinking of getting a Altezza for myself and instead of fucking about with sva tests was gona reg it in the south then take it up here.

What all would i have to do to get it reg'd in the south?

what bout mot's and all that crack?

you gotta register it on an irish plate which will cost about 2500euro,do ya have an irish address?because you could drive it on a southern plate legally up there if you had an irish addy:)

the newer the car is the more expensive it is to bring it in..and also low mileage..but you can just tell them theres 500.000kms on it:)

so it will still take about 2500euro even after i have payed the import tax and vat? im only looking 2 reg the car not buy the tax office
