That first video, awesome driving and that sounds amazing! Do you need to use a clutch with straight gears?

Remember lads, its not the gears that are "DOG" the gears are straight cut or helical.
The dog part is all to do with the dog engagement, ie no syncromesh

Usually with straight cut gears in race cars it has gog engagement, for the road you can still use syncros and straight gears, saves ruining ther dogs on a dialy basis.

You need to use the clutch on syncromesh gear kits, with a dog engagememnt, no you dont have to on the up shift, you do on the down shift if you cant match the revs well.

mine has been sent off to get the straight cut gears, costing me £2485, with 18 months warranty.

Postage cost me £230 to get it to Germany

send me a pm with details.
ive got 4 emails from companys who build them? ranges from 2500-6000gbp
the 6000gbp one is the daddy of all gearboxes and rated to 650bhp. the 2500 is rated to 450bhp. but none of them provided info as to what was provided in this kit,and what sort of torque these take and lifespan etc
