dont understand

right guys i have got a mk1 gt and i fitted lowering springs to it yesterday! but it still looks like a monster truk and i just dont understand why :S anyone got any ideas on this???? help will be repped

what shocks you using?? mine are 30mm lowering springs and its fairly low. 195/50/r15 tyres

I got RS*R springs on mine and they've highered it aswell, standard new shocks and its gone up about 30mm all round on 195/50/15 Parada's lol

It will do mate, you have to let them settle with the weight of the car on it for a few weeks before its noticeably lower.. Im not sure how true this is if there 2nd hand though. I would imagine if they arent that old then with them being off a car a wee while theyl need to settle stil though :)

depends also on your wheel size i have a a set of 17s on it for now its lowered 40mm and varis kit it also looks like a monster truck

that should make no difference realy bud 60 it should be on the tiles you should of compared them to your old springs you had in only way is ta take one out and compare

yeah dude the gap will close up, but like a said let it settle a week or two before its comfortable with the car weight.

another thing.. you have 16"s on and 60mm lowerings springs.. is it not rubbing like a bitch???? i honestly dont think they are 60mm mate

i had 50 ml on my old one and it was a bitch lol wait a week or so ta see how much they drop down my mates was like that for a good bit till it sunk down if they 60 your car will love speed bumps lol the dreded noise of crunch
