hi guys, i have an ep82 gtt. when i put the interior light onto the *door* setting the interior light just stays on all the time just as it would if you turned it to the *on* setting. Ive tryed un-screwing both door switches from the body so that they arent even earthed and it still stays on??? wot do u think is the problem??

Might be a dodgy connection in the light, try taking it out an giving it a good clean and the same with the door switch's..

The wire from the door switch must be nipped and touching to earth.
It runs sideways from the light to the drivers door pillar then down behind the plastic that holds the seatbelt bracket into the door sill. It also runs across to the other side as well behind the dash. You could cut it in the door dill to see if its nipped at the drivers side or the passengers side then rejoin it.
