double din head unit advice

Hi there

What is needed to fit a double din head unit

Do a need a cage or brackets or it a simple fit?

when i fitted mine, i just used back the oem brackets that held the oem radio and plastic bits in place

you radio (if new) will come the the appropriate screws to secure it to the oem brackets

but the car wasnt double din in first place it was single but has got the room for double.

the stereo i am gonna order will be new yes.

What gorganl said was correct. If there is a tray section under the current single din radio it can be removed and the stock brackets reused with the double din unit.
