is it ok to drive with the oils seals gone.

this may sound stupid but do toyota garages know much about working on starlets (changing ct9 to ct9 hybrid and replace actuator with hks one and setting it up rite?) as they quite rare and normaly they working on yarises etc.

official toyota garages charge a lot for labour mate. bring it to a performance centre near you that specialises in jap cars at least.

I'd be suprised if a main Toyota dealer would even contemplate fitting and setting up any performance parts that they have limited if any experience of. They would probably fit the turbo, but wouldnt be so sure about them wanting to increasing the boost with a uprated actuator.

Call your local dealer tho to find out for sure.

As for driving it with the turbo seals leaking, would really depend how bad they are leaking? If the turbo is throwing a substantial amount of oil into the intake, then my advice would be not to drive it, but if its just smoking slightly and your going to replace the turbo soon, then you should be ok to nurse the car around, just try and stay off boost as much as possible until you get it fixed.

If you do drive it, stick to only short necessary journeys.
