dump valve n gauge

i installed a boost gauge the other day and only drove it once and everything was fine but today whn on boost the gauge reads correct boost but when lift off my dump valve dosent work just gives off a little whistle would it be leaking at where i put the "t" piece for the gauge? only thing i can think of

where have you plumbed the vac hose into, inlet mani?
i had this trouble with the dv, the t piece was too small and caused it not to open the valve when the throttle was lifted off, try and run a vac straight to the dv see if it makes a difference without the t piece.

the dump valve worked fine bfore. i have the "t" piece in between dumpvale and inlet

yeah sounds like same prob i had, i just got a bigger inner diameter t piece and all was ok after.

oh ryt cheers where would i get such a thing? is it ok to drive with it doing wat it is untill i get 1?

yeah no problem with driving it, i expect your getting a little chatter from the turbo but that fine, you could just try ebay or halfords... should only be a couple of pound

Repped u m8 thts it working fine now went n bought a bigger diameter t as soon as u said n it works again thsnks alot
