Dump Valve question.

Hi, While my car was in the garage they noticed a piece of wood blocking the dump valve (the bigger pipe that comes off the front of the valve). Its all standard under there as far as I know. Is there any good reason why someone would do this?

Sounds like it's been blocked off cheaply, what dv is it?

As far as I know its original.

Little black one, does it make a chattering sound now ?

Does it still go into the standard intake pipe? If it does just remove the wood and plug it back in, the standard ones in my experience tend to leak and aren't very good. Might be worth sticking a uprated one on if you have issues after,

why would you do it though?

To get the turbo to chatter instead of recirculating into the intake

Took it out, seems to boost slightly better but could be in my head lol

No it definitely performs alot better now
