ebc wired to amp

if i wire the live and earth on my ebc up to the live and earth terminals on the amp for my sub would this work? sounds weird but its in my mr2 and the amp is a much easier route

depends on how the amp is wired. you don't want the ebc to only work when the stereo is on

ye i thought that ill have to have a look see if the amp turns on with just ignition and no stereo

well i would assume that the ebc would always stay on as your are using a constant live and earth. its the REM what controls the amp to go off with the head unit but youll only be using the live and earth so i think that it should be no problem. well in theory anyway
