lol cheers mate, what i was simply saying is locally iv seen very high bhp claims not do as well as other cars which have never been round a dyno lol..

what i was meerly implying was that hes got an awesome power figure.. credit is due as its no easy task.. but still for us locally bhp means nothing, its all down to the times you lay.. and the 3 most important locally are : 60ft - MPH and of course Final ET

congrats once again to ECC and the owner!! Now lets see some times ;)

Thats a fantastic result lads, well done on getting that power from that set up, its amazing.

I dont think you can make a good comparison with power figures and drag strip times but. There are so many other factors that come into making a good time, a car with 100kgs took out of it will run a faster time than one with the same power and the extra weight. Its obvious this car is not a stripped out drag set up only car but a fully licensened road car, so in my opinion there has been a record set on the engine output and its a cracker!

Alan very kindly used his last quarter tank of race fuel to take me a spin in this last week.....i have never been in anything so savage and rapid in all my puff.

it is a testament to both Alan's determination and perseverance, and to the talent and expertise of ECC! a credit to all those involved.

to say that this thing is impressive would be something of an understatement on my part.

Car seems well stripped out in pics only for the passenger seat ?

Thanks for all the comments on the car guys, the car itself isnt an out and out drag car, the car is used most days driving back and forward to work and being used on the track times arent high on my to do list, but i will be trying to get times just for the craic lol

@ buckets, the car has all the plastics and carpet out of it but the weight of the cage and braces prob weighs more than the stuff i've stripped out lol
