heya everyone ,

after taking out the harness + field for inspection , i put it back in place without changing any of the wiring , however the the emu wont power up when ignition is on , all jumpers in place , all wires connected , dash lights come on , where might the problem be ?

okay i got the harness/extension on my desk , everything is spot on , the 12v red wire joins the power wire pin 9 on the smaller connector together with the adapter wires ,
therefore the power isnt reaching either emu or the stock ecu ,
which fuse or wire should i be looking for ?

well i didnt check of the smaller stock plug itself had the power wire knocked off , or any of the fuses yet , will i find the efi fuse in the main fuse box in the bay ?

right what else could it be , on cranking the car sometimes cuts out completely as if theres not batt connected , its fully charged ,
maybe its an ignition barrel thing , no switched 12v ignition , to the emu aswell ? started shortly after wiring a turbo timer , im suspecting its circuit shorting trouble ?

Hi,

Try checking your ground wires on the EMU, might be your problem, if that doesnt fix it drop us a PM and i'll go through it with you.

Many Thanks

grounds are fine now after removing the intrusions ,
the fuses in the bay are all okay ,
where else is there a fuse to look for that can supply the 12v switched for the ecu and emu !
