engin mounts broke :(

while i was drivin 2day my gearbox and rear engin mounts broke :( :mad:

the engin has dropped quite a way down. prob about 6 inches.
is there any chance that it would have damaged stuff eg drive shafts, gear box, clutch??
car cut out about 20-30 secs after the mounts went.

also any recommendations on engin mounts to get. im runnin a 200 bhp hybrid set up

I replaced mine with TRD mounts if you need a standard set like.

But for uprated mounts, I would go for TRD, they come as the whole unit rather than just the bush. But are more expensive.

not totally sure if it was the whole mount or just bush. there were no bolts in the gearbox mount at all??

would you say the standard ones would do the job or do i need uprated ones?

also recon i would have caused any other damage?

My drivers side mount was broke, but its served its time 18 years! Would just stick with standard ones, heard that the TRD's can be prettybrutal!

no, TRD's are harder than stock, but nothing bad at all. poly ones are hardcore.

mate do you know silverlakes in botley? They have a uk starlet down there you can get the mount off if your desperate
