Engine for transplant.

The post about the charade making lots of power got me thinking about other small capacity engines that produce lots of power. I remembered one which would be good for a transplant in to a starbo. It should fit as its only a 1.5!
Here are the stats, 10 points if you can guess what its from

1499.8 cc
max 1.500 bhp at 11.000 rpm
turbo: KKK (Germany), later Garrett (USA)
block: cast steel (production based)

i amagine its gonna be forged up running lots of boost for that amount of power on such a little engine lol

The BMW F1 engine from the 80's it used to run about 800bhp for the race but they would turn the boost up for qualifying. They said they never really knew how powerful it was because there dyno only went to 1300bhp and it was still going!
Another thing is that the blocks they used were production blocks and they only used ones that had covered more than 100,000km because they improved with age and they used a special fuel developed by the Nazis, who said Hitler was all bad, he was obviosly a petrol head!!
