Engine jacking points

Changing engine mounts today, wheres the best place to lift the engine?

For the left hand... Block of wood on jack then steady on sump
Rear piece of piss just requires engine to to swung/rock by hand
Gear box wood on jack the on gearbox near end of it

Just remember the wood and take if steady

i prefer using a rubber jack pad as its more sturdy, but as above wil do the trick if you dont want to splash out on a jack pad.

The sumps are strong enough to take the weight of the engine and box easily, you will only damage it if you try and lift the car at the sump so make sure you dont jack it up to high before removing the mount bolts.
