engine problem

Ive got a glanza turbo, when its idiling theres a slight knocking sound, then when i gently put my foot on the accelerator the knocking sound gets louder and can be heard easily. its only start happening over the past few days. any ideas what it could be? any help would be much appreciated.

sounds like big end bearings mate if so its an engine out job! so when u rev it it knocks louder? did u run low on oil?

i thought big ends alright but hoped not. any idea the cost of repair if it is?

mate i have the same problem at first i rekond it was the dizzy cap or spark plugs but mines is only loud when revs slightly around 2k and 3k on idle is fine really how much would this cost for a garge to fix u rekon??

its expensive im gonna get the bottom end rebuilt or else a complete new engine, is anyone in ireland selling an engine?
