Hi I have an ep70 1.0 litre starlet and am lookong to have a 1.3 turbo conversion carried out but am wondering what kind of ballpark cash wise I am looking at here?
I am based in mayo ireland and have no donor car or anything. Where is best place im ireland to get this done? I heard ep performance is a safe bet?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for replys I was onto ep performance they said they could supply parts but would not do the labour and didnt give me a rough estimate. I rang east coast customs they coukdnt give an estimate untill I sent up a detailed email of what exactly I want and need. My best bet is to find a rough glanza/gt with a good engine turbo and box and just hand the 2 cars into a reputable garage

The cost would depend widely on what you personally want. For instance to fit a 4EFTE engine in a Toyota Tercel is pretty straight forward if the 4E loom is uncut. Minor electrical connections etc etc.

If you want to keep everything standard it shouldn't be that much.

seeing ur in the republic 800/1000e gets you a running gt ot glanza that needs attention !!!!!!

i would just fit the complete gt/v engine and car loom in the ep7 and build your way up

a garage is going to charge a fortune to do so !!!! will cost you more then 600e i think

Got to factor in the original car is a carb and the 4efte needs fuel injection. So you need to get a 2e fuel tank or sump/ fit a swirl pot for the original tank. Dripping the engine ins the easy bit. The 1e comes out in about half hour.

Ya buying a cheap gt/glanza as the donor car is defo the way to go here. I will consider my opyions over next few weeks I dont want to be dropping huge money either.

bargain. costs that for a cambelt change round here.

Are you saying it costs 600 euro to do a cam belt change on a 4/5E by you?

If it will fit use the AE92 fuel tank. It fits my AE82 :p
Or just mod your fuel tank :)

Read around the net and try to see what you can do yourself. If you save some money you can fit a stand alone management :)

ok, probably a slight overestimate, but i reckon 400euros wouldnt be far off depending on the car. stuff is so expensive!

I've been planning on doing this conversion lately myself with the brothers boxy. Easiest way is to get a donor car. There's also a lad in dublin that will sort wiring for u.
All you need is the glanza engine and dash loom and he makes a custom loom without having to take the boxy dash out. About 100 quid for it from what I heard
