Hello people! new to the forums. i have a 1993 ep82 lsd, not too many mods other than the usual Dv, Cams, Custom mani, boost control, inbuilt dash pods, Recaro interior, and a PERFECT body =D (yeah im talking about the car!)

Soon to fit: Jam Ecu, TOM adjustable spoiler, Fmic, Hybrid Ct9, oil catch, and a Custom home fibreglassed bodykit! when i get around to finishing it!

Anyone in Dorset area on here? Weymouth?

I think il get membership in a couple of weeks, il start a photo log of everything being done to the car, hoping after christmas to do a full photo log of how to set up your own hybrid turbo and Front mount intercooler (Noob Edition) =P

yo Kern,

i wouldnt bother with the jam ecu, get an emanage blue and get it mapped by my mate Mikey at K-tec! you should stick with the ct9, try it at 1bar you wont believe how much faster it is than what it is at now mate. They really are a street weapon with a fmic, stock turbo at 1bar, uprated fuel pump and fpr. circa 180bhp. then if your not happy with it slap on a hybrid.

Oh and i forgot to tell you the other day... you have a hks actuator already.

Christ, didnt realise that =D show how much attention iv paid to my engine in the past two months.. i might try that yeah, iv bought the hybrid but i might like you said with thjust try it e standard but up the boost, for at least a couple of months. Thinking about it i would probably prefer to get a load of internals and supporting mods for the car before putting the hybrid on. at least then i can save money and buy a load of stuff and up the power over a weekend in the garage.

Where can you get this "emanage blue"? never heard of that make before, iv only seen blitz, jam, and a couple of others. Heard of K-tech before, i think iv seen a clio or something on wyke road with it on their sunvisor.

its a piggyback ecu bud.

i would also think about getting the chassis side of things sorted before you go spending mega money on engines etc. brakes wont cope with extra power, you need to uprate the suspension too and possibly the clutch if yours starts to slip on boost

Iv got a list of things to get, grooved brakes, might try getting hold of some D2 coilovers. But not sure cos they seem over priced, when i could just get some shocks. The clutch i might talk to steve about, cos hes got an exeddy(sp) one, and dont know if hes going to need anything but standard for the time being =/ but yeah. im going to strip out the back after christmas and start on a small firbreglass build after i get my windows tinted. (fibreglassing is my thing) =D but yeah so far, (Piggyback ecu, Boost Control, Brakes, Suspention, FMIC, Oil catch tank, fuel pressure regulator, and other odds).

How much did you want for your shocks and springs? should be getting some work this week and wouldnt mind having my car a bit lower.

Tommorow im going to bournemouth to get rolling roaded with scott walker and james pymp. understand you know scott? owns a mx3, just got rid of a Red R5 befor had a Del sol.

yeah i know scott, did you put yours on the rollers?? the results seem a bit high, they always do as its mega cold up there this time of year lol.

they are only stock shocks like yours with lowering springs on, but if you want them i'm after 100 mate!

Yeah had to put it on the rollers... pretty much standard i got 148.6 Bhp, fueling looks good also, steady boost =) all good signs. I was Quite suprised how much power there was in comparison to some pretty modded civics... if my car standard was around the same as a Vtec with 7-8 mods im looking forward to the results after christmas!

Would you sell the springs alone? if so how much would you sell the springs for? had a look at my shocks a couple of days ago and they arent too bad, just need a bit of a polish.

Did you say you had a Light up "GT" bootlid? would you be interested in selling that? Steve wouldnt feel so special then =D
