Ep91 bulb problem

Well, i of the bulbs went a few weeks back in the spotlight, so i decided id order yellow ones for a change, but i cud only get them in 55w, which the originals were 35w. i put the yellow ones in, and 2 days later 1 of them blew, i bought anoter set and the same thing happened. :homer: does any1 know why this is happening? would it be the bulb getin 2 hot?

well the first time it was the passenger side then the last 2 times was the drivers side, the bulb does brake inside the light.

look if you got any loose wire hanging around or if its dirty that may cause it to blow also

Id say there is a short circuit somewhere mate, causing them to blow check the wiring.

Do you have the old 35w bulb left, try that and see if it blows as a test in the drivers side.The different bulbs could be the problem.

as above could be the fact that there 55w not 35 matey

Ya, have 1 original 1. but ya cant get 35w anymore thats the problem.. they wer only 15e on ebay, and i priced the original one, also 55w, and they wer 16e a piece.. ! would it just be the cheap bulb?

silly question did you try toyota for the bulb?
they will more than likely do it but it wont be cheap. The only place i can get headlamp bulbs for the gt is from toyota

ya, went to a toyota dealer, was a mad price altogether, think it was 20e a bulb. mite try the dearer yellow 1s on ebay.
