EP91 Intercooler... minimal bumper choppin!

Hiya

im looking for an intercooler for my ep91, i only have 200ish quid. i don't want to cut my bumper too much, but i saw one when i logged on this morning jus like mine and its exactly how i want it!!! (not that it helps any of youuuu!!)

think were gonna have to take air con out - not bothered about that... but some one help peeeees!! this is my first jap car... and its gotta look the dogs dangly bits!!!!

get an hdi cooler then, its air con friendly but if you keep it in you will need to cut the bumper. but if you remove the air con it goes in further back with next to no cutting needed of the bumper. you will need a little more than 200 quid but imo its worth it as the hdi coolers are a great bit of kit and are massive, so give great cooling benifits. you could get an autobhan cooler but i dont think they are anywhere near as good:freddy:

thanks... actually i found one for under 200 quid! but ! my friend has the HDI one and thinks were gonna have to cut a lot.... ;)

you may be able to get a 2nd hand one for £200, but probly best of getting one new - HDI coolers are easy fitments to glanza and are around £300 new.

remember buy starlet specific ones, not universal ones as you will be there all day cutting and chopping and it still wont fit.

Unless you buy the core and get custom pipework made up.

yup im sure, i fitted mine while i had air con and had to cut a lot of the bumper, but there is lads on here with no air con and who fitted the cooler further back and hardly had to touch the bumber. you wont get a better cooler for the money defo!:freddy:

I found one forr 200, brand new which is for my car - so should jus pop strait on rite???? lol!;)
