exhaust sizes

iv currently got HKS silent-hi power, straight through system which i think is 2 1/4 inch diameter..
im thinking of getting a custom system made with a 2 1/2 inch diameter..

what are the advantages or disadvantages of having a bigger exhaust.. the car is currently running td04 at 1 bar..

if you get a bigger exhaust it would spool faster but you coul also get some boost creep.

if you're running a td04 at 1bar im sure a 2 1/2 would be plently unless you plan on running over 1.5 witch i'd go for 2 3/4 to 3
