Exspensive Skirts

Bit of a non-sensical question this, but why are skirts deemed to be more exspensive than that of a rear lip and such, i'm talking about the Zep/Livesports ones in particular off rhdJapan but its samey for others too. WHY????

because there is more material, you have one rear lip, yet buying a skirt set, essentially, you are buying 2 items
