Exterior door handle

This may sounds like a rather weird question, but I've noticed that there's a common niggle on some Starlet EP91 (standard models or glanza) concerning driver's exterior door handle? Mine is loose and I know two other EP91 which have same broken exterior handles on driver's side (RHD).

Can anyone confirm such things please? Common problem or isolated cases? Thanks

yes the spring that stops the handle from rattling has popped out just take off the handle and put the spring back in and bobs your uncle

Sorry if it is actually really obvious how to do this I haven't looked up close at mine yet. Do you need to remove anything or is it just a case of putting the spring back in the right place?

Both my door handles are rattling.

The part where to spring sits into has broken on both handles so need new ones!

What price are new handles from toyota??

i've experienced the same thing but on the passenger side handle, easy replaced with a brand new one, was cheap but cannot remember how much as its a long time ago that i bought one!
