hi ppl, just a couple of questions for external wastegate users. on the tial wastegate the outlet on the top is vented to atmosphere, the outlet on the side is this going to the turbo? also, has anyone found them to foul the top coolant hose? mine seems to be really close to it. thanks.

Correct, unless you're running an electronic boost controller you should leave the top port venting to atmosphere. The wastegates position is going to depend entirely on your manifold design, without a mention of that it's hard for people to comment...
If it's close but not touching it should be fine.
