Fabrication cost??

I'm having a stud made tomorow at a good engineering place and I think while i'm there I'm going to ask if they'll make me a heat shield out of sheet metal for
Me. It has a recess in the left for the tmic pipe, fixes to the 3 holes above the Mani, and has a role in it downwards. Out f curiousity, how much should I be looking at paying??

i wouldnt think too much mate. they will prob make it from stainless and maybe bout an hours labour max plus the cost of the material.
you should get a job at an engineering place, the amount of money i save is unreal

An hours labour? Fuck me lol, I could do it quicker then that haha I'm not worried about stainless, it's gonna be painted in vht black paint.
