iv got the new type ssqv and cant fault it in any way its amazing i love the sound when it dumps a full boost it can even scare people on the pavement haha. ive neva changed the middle tho so dunno the ova part sounds like does anyone?

The older SSQV has an adjustable bolt to adjust the noise where as the newer one has interchangable inlets, new type from nengun i think it was is 170new with fittings!

Which way do you turn the knob to achieve what effect? lol

Think mine has an adjustable knob on the back of it - never bothered turning it though!

as dub said! i've lost my knob on my ssqv.... and its very high pitched so take it the more out it is the more high pitched =]

going by how my type rs works, the more in the screw, the less the piston can open as the screw physically stops it. i'm not sure if the ssqv adjustment would work in the same way

suck it and see ;)

The Greddy Type S no question!

You can adjust it to make pretty much any sound a bov can make.

You can have it fully tightened for turbo Stall, then slightly looser for a straight forward Tsshhhh with no whistling, then out a bit more for a hint of whistle mixed in with the Tshhh, then a bit more for a two stage Tsshhh-Whislte, right up to sounding almost identical to an ssqv squeeking its ass off.
