Hi guys, been all over the site and still cant find an air filter relocation tutorial. I need to relocate my air filter straight off my turbo to behind the grill. What parts do i need and do any traders offer a relocation kit?

Thanks guys, Also i have both a Blitz LM filter and an Apexi filter. So if one is easier to fit space wise than the other could you let me know.

Cheers :)

Its not really something that requires a whole tutorial buddy. Get a 38mm>45mm 90degree reducer, a 45mm 90deg bend alloy tubing and some jubilee clips. Job done.

What about filter sizes though? Will i need a cheap small filter or will the apexi or the blitz filter fit?

The Apexi universal filter has an external diameter of 76mm, so if your going Apexi then you will need a 76mm reducer.

You can make your existing air filter "fit." Measure the diameter and get your butt on eBay and search for various reducers/alloy tubing to make something up! Easy job mate, just takes 5 mins of research.

or cheaper still see if the s bend fits on from your stock pipe (the bit that you would connect thefiter to anwway) if so you can cut this after the flexi bit, and a pipe or joiner later you got a pretty much free relocation kit, not 100% sure but i think this clears the AC too :p
