CLEAN! I'd say 260 is good and with regards to doing it cheaper....this engine should be bullet proof by the sounds of things. So long as your warm it up nicely it should batterable all day. Very jealous that looks to be like a good heap of fun!
 
hey dac69er...i've just noticed you are running the stock radiator.

based on my past experience with td04l/vf series upgrades, the stock automatic (2 core) and stock manual (single core) radiators don't cool very efficiently with prolonged spirited driving...may be my relatively high daily temps (30c) contributed to that and with your cooler region you may be ok

but out of caution, i'd suggest you upgrade to the 3 core civic radiator

Coolant Temps are perfectly fine. I use a stock genuine thermostat.

I've never had any cooling problems. I have a dual row on my ep85 turbo and that gives the same temps.

Had no issues with the temps on the Dyno either. It was a pretty hot day, but it kept the temps where they needed to be for the whole day
