Just wondering, when importing a car is it MOT'd or registered first? Ive got an issue with the registration of my Supra, with the DVLA telling me it's been in the country 3 years longer than it has lol. Anyway, the MOT is from 13th December '07 and i have the docs to get the number plates made up dated 18th December 07. Is it right that it was MOT'd before the docs were given out to get the plates made up?

yeah correct mate, they will use the chassis number on the mot form,
then to get the plates etc you have a mot

good, thats ok then. Basically the DVLA have made an error and put it was first registered in the UK 18/12/04! Despite the fact it was only imported last year. It says 1 former keeper and he aquired it on 18/12/07, so im not quite sure who was supposed to have owned it for the other 3 years... idiots lol..... But the woman from DVLA was having none of it and told me that they dont make mistakes HA!
