Can anybody answer this for me, i have new mani and decat arriving soon and wondered the same?

The top (oxygen) sensor needs to be installed and connected up, the bottom sensor measures the exhaust gas temperature entering the cat. When the cat is removed the temperature sensor is no longer required so it can be removed without any concern.

If there are holes for both just plumb them in, if not be careful as you need to connect the right one, if not your engine will run really rough or not at all.

Great cheers guys. I haven't looked at it but if it is connected via a clip, can i just un plug the whole thing completely from the wiring?
