Same here mate, I was told you have to run a harness. Theres not enough room for the seatbelt clip anyway between my recaro seats and the centre console. Must be different for oem recaros though.
Pretty sure the seat belt 'stalk' should be mounted to the seat and not the rails. If you've no way of mounting the belt to the seat then the obvious solution is to install a multi point harness.
