flutter or dump....? how about both.. read on

ah... na mate.. when its set to dump it doesnt effect the turbo at all so you/i/everyone will just have to worry/not about the flutter.. lol
 
i dunno how but mine already does both lol
wen the FMIC got fitted it started doing it
ill hav 2 get a video.if i release throtthe quick say in high revs it dumps,but low revs it flutters/chatters

ya most dumpvalves do this.. if you loosen out the screw on the dumpvalve it will stop this... this way tho if you press the switch you will get flutter all of the time no matter what you boost it 2... turn off the switch and you have dump.. best of both worlds really

Positive rep for coming up with the idea of using the stock solenoid to create your goal, I like that sort of stuff.

Negative rep for causing flutter but, so I am afraid they cancel each other out lol.

Still love it but!!

kinda a grey area i know but sometimes you have to live on the edge eh.. i havent heard of a case yet of turbo failure due to bunged up dumpvalve pipes... alot like flutter and alot are afraid of it and i think this way is the best of both worlds.. i wont be leaving on the switch the whole time but if i desire a different sound all i have to do is press a button and visa versa... yes yes im a lazy git..lol

Great thread, thx for that. I'll do it! So why exactly the fluttering is bad for turbo? I thought the standard BOV does the same but doesnt make any sound it spins it back isn't it?
