Hi members
To me the first mod that one should have is a good stand alone management
But i see that it costs more than the car itslelf over seas

So ive got some software and a map that i can email to whom are interested to try it out. a South African management system "Spitronics"

Just a taste :D

3100 rad is about 310 euro which isnt bad if the results are good

what kind off support do they offer on toyotas? do they offer base maps and that?

I think 100rpm increments is a bit excessive, not to metion over here it would cost 3 times as much to map, or if your doing it yourself 3 times as long.
Not knocking it at all, is it like a megasquirt system?

That MR turbo unit is pish. How many "boxes" do you get with the 100 rpm incriments? I have been to lazy to read up on it sorry but would like to know, does it give a 24 x 24 map scale or larger?

After a long stint as daily drive, I've just decided to treat my 4AGZE EP82 to the most basic Spitronics. It took about 2 minutes to get the car started,
and 10 minutes later i was driving. No dyno, no specialised startup maps. Just a lambda sensor and common sense.

I've replaced my old Gotech unit with the Spitronics, and I can tell you it is in a class of it's own. I cannot recommended this highly enough.
I still have a fair bit of work to do, tidying up, the revcounter in the instrument cluster still needs to be connected, fan control set up on the
Spitronics etc., but this ecu is great.

After the initial setup and a minor fueling adjustment, I drove 45km to a friends house, and parked outside in 3 degree celsius temperature.
Cold start on the first kick, and not a hesitation or sputter from there on. and I can already tell i'm making more power, and smoother as well.
The switchover between 4 fuel maps is perfectly smooth, and with the added ability to calibrate the MAP sensor to local pressure, I have no
worries on a trip down to the coast, or up into the mountains.

Download the V1.14 software, and I'll send anyone my current map to take a look at.

iam glad you are happy with it :)
yes if you have a lamda self tuning is easy with the software provided
only within time people will start to realize that there is no other management close to this one for the price :)
it can be compared to a wolf efi
