front mount intercooler?

This may be a very stupid question but my rad is on the way out and i was wondering if i got a front mount is dare a need for a rad? i was tinking that or just go away and get an alloy rad? any answers that help would be reppd of course..

The radiator cools your engine coolant, the intercooler (front mount) cools the intake air from the turbo

thats a great help thanks!! i think an alloy rad would be a good investment so maybe.. are they much of a benefit?

you will still need a radiator
the radiator and FMIC serve very different purposes as Mike told you
they are benefits to running an alloy radiator, however, most people on here tend to buy a smaller alloy radiator in order to save space when doing turbo conversions

depends on your plans, as you can get a stock sized alloy radiator or a smaller unit
