Front whipers started working on there own :/

on saturday I was driving along and my whipers started to come on and went off and done this for a while so i stopped turned the car off and drove home it started again for a while and stopped could it just be the relay?

Also i was driving on a country road in the pitch dark so it could of been little green men trying to beem me up :L

Green men for sure, watch for the probe!

It could be the relay, the motor or the controls at the steering wheel. hard to find but unless its doing it all the time. If it was me I would take the plug off the stalks and see if it still does it, to rule that bit out. You wont have any working wipers if you need them but then!!

I will have a look at the weekend I think the motor had a bit of a moment now the screen wash dosnt work but that could be due to the cold tempretures this past coupld of days as my misses topped it up so no dowt it was just water but ill looked later but im defo thinking it was the green men wanting the starlet
