Fucking Cars!

Go into an engineering outlet and get some heavy duty jublee clips. Its what I use with mine even when I got the new fmic I did'nt use the ones that came with it as there usually rubbish. Its a pain in the arse I went through it before but chin up dude its just a minor set back.:)

Yeah if I fix the pipe on and rev the car on the stop it's perfect. Piping probably isn't right I'm guessing.

take the pipe off and weld a small ring around the base of the pipe and use bolt clamps so its tight and the weld will stop it popping of at any boost :drive:

I had the same problem Idress, when i was re-routing the pipes recently.I was using a shit bit of pipe, it didnt have a "rib" on it so the jubilee clip couldnt bite into anything and just slid off on any boost.Try a better joiner were its popping off :)

That's nice of you Jay.

G I know what you mean, all pipes did have the lip on them apart from that one so yeah that probably is the problem. We'll try fix something tomorrow otherwise I'll stick my Autobahn piping on it for the time being.

this worked for me, my piping for DV keeps poping offf ( i made mistake of cutting the lip bit). because the pipe is so smooth, i got a small hack saw and made zig zag cuts all way round pipe, now it holds well.
Just to add jublee clips are crap if you over tigthenm them they sear

my pipe work is rather cut and shut, but holds 1.4bar on td04 easily. I just bought brand new genuine "jubilee" clips and you can tighten them up FT lol.

Say what?

The Bitch went through a phase of throwing an IC hose off which is fucking annoying as I could never get it back on and keep it on at the roadside.

Idrees, take the pipes off and clean them thoroughly with white spirit or similar and allow them to dry. Apply a small amount of "Belt Slip" compound (Usually an aerosol purchased from a motor factors) to the pipe and slip the silicone hoses on, clamping with Mikalor Clamps. If you don't want to buy those, double up on some hefty jubilee clips. Allow the belt slip compound to dry out, it goes very sticky and should help.
