fuel cut defender

is it save for me 2 put a fuel cut defender on my car as it is hitting fuel cut, it has a fmic, straight through exhaust including manifold and decat and cone filter. as I have heard all sorts or weird things about this fuel cut defender. Also if i get a fuel pressure regulator what's the best fuel pressure for 1 bar of boost. cheers

ok... fuel cut is at .9 of a bar and hitting it all the time "WILL" damage your engine.. turn down the boost untill your get the fueling sorted.. under .8 of a bar cause the EML light comes on at .8 of a bar to warn you that your getting near fuel cut.. if your looking for 1bar of boost and your goin down the FCD/FPR route you will need to get it sorted on a rolling road.. you cant do it yourself safely im afraid

well if i get a mani and downpipe will i hit fuel cut aswell as i have cat back excust and fmic with the mani and downpipe it wouldnt but the boost up will it??

I'm running the same kind of set up as mark and iv installed the fuel pressure reg but am waiting to get it set up before I put the fcd on, it's going into the tuners on Friday, isit safe to drive with the fuel pressure set at 3.1bar till Friday or shall I just put the old pressure reg back on???
